In 2012 I took a weekend Mindfulness Course because I was feeling stressed. I felt a shift and became hooked. I began absorbing information about Mindfulness every chance I could. Opportunities to learn more about Mindfulness started presenting themselves to me. While teaching Elementary Physical Education I took many courses through Mindful Schools. These include Mindful Fundamentals, Educator Essentials, Difficult Emotions and Mindful Schools Certified Mindfulness Instructor Course. In 2021, I completed the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. All of these teachings have created a personal growth experience for me that I would like to share with others. Mindfulness is an opportunity for transformation.
